Black water

That water sure looks black, but really, it was quite green – this boat is the same one from the left-side of the banner. This was taken in Monteray, CA. I was leaning over the railing, looking straight down, and it pretty much framed itself.

Vicarious

 

It is very cold in my office. And I think it’s going to be a cold winter, judging by December thus far. This photo (taken in the La Seu cathedral in Barcelona, I think the city’s oldest but I can’t recall for sure) just looks so warm. (The largest size of this, though, shows that it is ever so slightly blurry. Taking still indoor photos with a point-and-shoot is not easy.)

I have new stuff to upload I just haven’t yet. I will though!

This is what driving in Pennsylvania is like.

Pennsylvania is hilly. So they just carved trenches through, around, and along all the hills and laid the highway down in them. My extended family lives in PA. We used to make this 10-hour drive to my grandparents a few times a year. Nowadays, I’m somewhat taller, and I can actually see out of the car from the back seat. But when I was little, all I could really see was this. Complete with authentic window-glare.

I’ve decided to use Flickr and just link photos from there, so you should be able to click through for more info, various sizes, etc. It will direct you to my Flickr site instead of just a larger size in a window with nothing else (I mean, I could make it just do that instead, but maybe you want, like, a thumbnail, I don’t know). Linking from Flickr is way easier than embedding photos.

Fussing

Ok. Not a great shot – little blurry if you look closely. But I love this color. We were sitting under these trees waiting for my brother’s department graduation to start. Thank god for them, because it was hot in that San Luis Obispo sun. I don’t even know what kind of tree this is. I am sure I could look it up.
